EN1090-2 certified conveyor walkways and work platforms now available from our own manufacturing facilities
Lutten near Oldenburg / Germany, 14.08.2024 – Apullma – a specialist in customized conveyor technology – has reached an important milestone with its EN1090 certification, which goes hand in hand with a significant expansion of its range of services: In addition to conveyor systems, bulk material vendors and transshipment site operators can now use Apullma’s EN1090-2 certified production to source supporting structures for walways and working platforms along the conveyors – such as gangways, stairs and risers or bridges and balconies including railings. The comprehensive range, including EN1090-2 certified in-house production, offers customers the advantage of using a single supplier for the entire conveyor solution. As a result, there is no need for coordination between the different vendors, more integrated designs are created and the solutions are optimized holistically.
“Apullma’s EN1090 certification is more than just proof of compliance; it is a strategic extension of the service offering. Customers benefit from more integrated, more efficient and higher quality solutions from a single source,” says Peter Pulsfort, Managing Director and owner of Apullma.
EN1090 certification: a sign of quality and safety
To comply with the European Construction Products Directive, load-bearing steel components used for walkways and working platforms along conveyor systems must be developed in accordance with EN1090. This requires certification and monitoring of the factory and production control. With the EN1090 certificate, Apullma not only demonstrates the qualification of its employees and the required technical equipment, but also compliance with the specified essential product characteristics of the components.
Investment in quality and human resources
The EN1090 certification required a significant investment in both the company’s quality management system and the qualification of its staff. Apullma’s commitment in this area therefore also underlines the company’s commitment to continuously improve its range of solutions.
Complete supplier of individual conveyor technology
With the EN1090 certification, Apullma has strengthened its position as a total supplier of customized conveyor technology. Customers benefit from a single source for all their bulk material handling needs, from the initial design phase through the construction of the supporting structures to the commissioning and maintenance of the conveyor systems.
